Migration and Transfer Policy for KITAAS College, Lahore

  1. Eligibility Criteria:

    • Students wishing to migrate to KITAAS College must have completed at least one semester at their previous institution.
    • Migration is allowed for students who have valid reasons, such as relocation or academic benefit, subject to the approval of the college administration.
    • The student should not have any disciplinary actions or pending investigations at their current institution.
  2. Required Documentation:

    • Students applying for migration must submit the following documents:
      •      Official transcripts of academic records from the current institution.
      •      No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the current institution.
      •      Course outlines and syllabi of completed subjects for transfer of credits evaluation.
      •      Character certificate from the current institution.
      •      A written application outlining the reason for migration.
  3. Credit Transfer:

    • The courses for which credit transfer is requested must closely match the courses offered by KITAAS College in terms of content and credit hours.
    • Only courses with a grade of “C” or higher will be eligible for credit transfer.
    • A maximum of 50% of the required credits for the degree can be transferred from another institution.
    • Final approval of credit transfer lies with the Academic Committee of KITAAS College.
  4. Application Process:

    • The student must submit a formal migration request, including all required documentation, to the Admissions Office of KITAAS College.
    • The application will be reviewed by the Migration Committee, which will evaluate academic standing, course content compatibility, and the reason for migration.

  5. Fee Structure and Financial Obligations:

  6. Final Approval and Registration:

    • Once the migration is approved, the student will be required to complete the registration process at KITAAS College and will be subject to the college’s academic policies and regulations.
    • Students must adhere to all rules and requirements, including attendance and examination policies, of the college after transfer.
