KITAAS & Tabeer Foundation Sign MoU to Expand Scholarship Opportunities for Students.

Lahore – KITAAS institute and Tabeer Foundation have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to work together for improving access to higher education for talented students from financially challenged backgrounds.
The partnership aims to support deserving students by providing scholarship opportunities in key professional fields and helping them continue their higher education without financial barriers.
Under the agreement, KITAAS will offer 15 fully funded scholarship seats every year for students nominated by Tabeer Foundation. These include five seats in Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT), five seats in Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), and five seats in Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm-D). These scholarships will cover tuition and academic charges as per the college’s policies.
Explaining the details of the agreement, Chairperson of BoG KITAAS Prof. Dr. Mohammad NizamudDin has said, “In addition, the college may also reserve up to five additional seats in each program, subject to availability. For these seats, Tabeer Foundation will support 50 percent of the financial cost, while KITAAS College will facilitate admissions and provide academic support to students.”
He explained that Tabeer Foundation will be responsible for identifying and selecting deserving students through a transparent process. It will also support students during the admission process and ensure proper documentation is submitted to the college.
Dr Nizam further explained that KITAAS College will manage admissions in line with its academic policies, ensure a supportive learning environment, and monitor the academic progress of scholarship students. Both institutions will also share updates and work together on educational and community development activities.
Speaking on the occasion Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Tabeer Foundation Dr. Mohammad Shahid Soroya highlighted the importance of collaboration in improving access to education and empowering youth to contribute positively to society.
