DESCRIPTION:“From Where We Start: Rethinking the Conventional Approach to Breast Care”\nOn December 3rd\, the Khaldunia Institute of Technology and Applied Sciences (KITAAS) conducted an enlightening awareness session focused on educating students and healthcare professionals about modern perspectives on breast health and the vital role of early detection.\nFollowing the recitation of the Holy Qur’an and Naat Sharif\, the event opened with a warm welcome address by Ms. Riffat Yasmin\, Principal of the Nursing College at KITAAS.\nWe were privileged to host Dr. Shahnila Jamil\, Lecturer in the Department of Pharmacognosy at Salim Habib University\, Karachi\, as our first guest speaker. She provided valuable insights and shared simple\, practical techniques for improving breast care.\nOur second guest speaker\, Dr. Irum Bano Tariq\, a breast cancer survivor\, moved the audience with her inspiring story of courage\, perseverance\, and hope.\nThe session was chaired by Prof. Dr. Bushra Inayat Rajput\, Director General\, who addressed the participants and distributed certificates at the conclusion of the event.
